Publish On 2009-12-04 , 11:30 PM
The Varsity Girls hosted Arlington Country Day school in Seacoast 1st ever FHSAA district game. The girls started off very slow. ACD took an 8-2 lead catching an unfocused Seacost team off guard. Seacoast got things going after a bit of a chewing out from their Coach and led at the end of the quarter 12-10. ACD did not have an answer to Seacoast pressure defense and was out scored 15-4 in the second quarter and Seacoast led at the half 27-14. The Girls never looked back and finished the game with their 7th win of the season 59-33. Morgan Silverstein led all scores and tied the entire ACD team with 33 points. Hannah Anderson added 13 points. Seacoast has tied the school win record with 17 in a row dating back to last year, when they finished the season with 10 wins in a row. The girls will have a big test next week when they travel to another District game at Eagle's View on Tuesday.
