In keeping with the purpose and mission of Seacoast, we offer a challenging curriculum within the context of a Christ-centered community. Foundational to our curriculum is a dedication to developing a Christian worldview within the heart of each student.

Seacoast Christian is in the educational “business” of educating, shaping and renewing the minds of students. When you consider the amount of time your child will spend in school, it is essential to select one that will not only challenge and inspire intellectual development, but will also nurture.

Seacoast Christian faculty have a profound impact on our students. Certified to teach in their area of concentration, they are committed in their faith and joyfully share their spiritual journeys with their students. It is what motivates them to work with students long after the last bell has rung. It is the nature of these relationships that invigorates the minds of our students, equipping them to become critical thinkers and life-long learners.

“...be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2)

K5-6th grade use the A Beka and Bob Jones curriculums, focusing on teaching the whole child through academics with Christ-centered backgrounds. A Beka reading is phonics-enriched and gives students the strong hold that they will need to excel in reading. Our reading program is also enhanced by teachers bringing in other aspects of reading like author studies and numerous reading-related activities that allow for student creativity and expression. Seacoast teachers do their best to ensure that students are challenged academically, but a strong emphasis is also placed on Biblical studies and developing a personal relationship with the Lord. Students are taught in Bible, science, history, and a school-wide writing program that begins in K5 and follows them through 6th grade. With small class sizes, our students are able to participate in many hands-on activities through various center times and resources such as Spanish, art, music, dance, P.E., and library. Computer classes are currently offered for 2nd-6th graders. Drama is available for grades 3rd-6th.

Students are encouraged to academically prepare themselves for the college environment through appropriate areas of study that includes the core subjects: math, science, English, and history. High school juniors and seniors are also eligible to participate in the dual enrollment program at FCCJ’s South Campus. Students may enhance their learning through a variety of electives such as dance, drama, Spanish, computer technology courses, art, geography, psychology, and creative writing. A.P. European History, A. P. English & Literature has been added and College algebra & pre-calculus is offered on site and college credit is given.

The Individualized Learning Centers are a place where students with an IEP are able to get individualized attention to meet their specific learning needs. One of the curriculums we use is ‘Switched on Schoolhouse”. This is a biblically based computer system, which is designed for students to work at their own pace and ability level. This program allows the teachers to modify curriculum according to the students’ needs and grade levels.
